Program
The Holy Trinity Preschool program takes a holistic approach to learning. Language development skills, large and small motor skills, and age-appropriate academic skills (e.g. color, shape, name and letter recognition) are introduced and taught through various themes throughout the year. Art and science activities, stories, games, songs and finger plays relating to the themes are the vehicles through which the skills are taught. Teaching is individualized, as all children progress at different rates; the children have opportunities each day to work independently, in small and large groups, and to experience self direction as well as to participate in structured lessons.
Holy Trinity Preschool will offer the following programs for academic year 2010-11:
Holy Trinity Preschool offers classes for children who are 3, 4 & 5 according to Skaneateles Central School Guidelines (3,4 or 5 by December 1st). We continually register students if we have spots available. Holy Trinity Preschool does require that its students be toilet trained.
2 Day Program for 3-Year-Olds
The 3 year-old classes meet on Monday & Wednesday or Tuesdays & Thursdays mornings from 9-11:30am.
3 Day Program for 3-Year-Olds
This program includes one of the 2 day programs listed above (MW or TTh mornings from 9-11:30am), and adds an Enrichment Class which meets on Friday mornings from 9-11:30am.
3 Day Program for 4-Year-Olds
The 4-year-old classes meet on MWF mornings from 9-11:30 or on MWF afternoons from 12:30-3:00pm.
5 Day Program for 4-Year-Olds
This program includes one of the 3 day programs listed above (morning or afternoon), and adds an Enrichment Class which meets on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons from 12:30-3:00pm.
2 Day Enrichment Program for 5-Year-Olds
Kindergartners can be bussed from Waterman School to Holy Trinity Preschool for our 5's Enrichment program on Tuesday & Thursday mornings from 9:30am-12:30pm (for PM Kindergartners) or from 11:45am-2:45pm (for AM Kindergartners).
Tuition for academic year 2010-11:
2 Day Program: $700/year or $175/quarter for each child
3 Day Program: $1000/year or $250/quarter for each child
5 Day Program: $1700/year or $425/quarter for each child
2 Day Five-Year-Old Enrichment Program: $820/year or $205/quarter for each child
Tuition will be billed on a quarterly basis but may be paid in full prior to each semester. Quarterly payments are due before school begins in September and then around the following dates: November 5th, January 16th and March 15th.
*families with two or more children attending at the same time will receive a 10% discount per child
