Helen Glowacki
Helen has a M.A. in Elementary Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She received a B.A. in Psychology/English at Union College in Schenectady, NY. She was a Kindergarten Teacher for 5 years in Manhattan before moving to Skaneateles. She taught the 4-year-olds at Holy Trinity Preschool for two years before having her son. This is her 3nd year as Director of Holy Trinity Preschool. She is an active volunteer in her children's schools as well as in her community. Helen resides in Skaneateles with her husband and three children.
Teachers
Mindy Bathgate (4's Teacher, 3's Assistant)
Mindy has an Associates Degree in Early Education from Cayuga Community College. This is Mindy’s 8th year at Holy Trinity Preschool. She has 15 years of teaching experience at the Skaneateles Early Childhood Center and resides in Skaneateles with her husband and two children.
Kelly Daley (4's Teacher, 5's Enrichment Teacher)
Kelly has a B.A. from Rutgers University and a MS in Reading Education from SUNY Cortland. This is Kelly’s 8th year teaching the 4’s at Holy Trinity. She has 12 years of teaching experience. Kelly is an active member of St. Mary’s of the Lake Church where she has taught religious education for the past 10 years. She resides in Skaneateles with her husband and four children.
JoAnna Schmeling (3 Year-Old Teacher and 4's Assistant and 4's Enrichment Teacher)
JoAnna has recently moved to Skaneateles with her husband and twins. She is has a CDA (A Child Development Associate Credential is a nationally recognized credential awarded to qualified caregivers who work with children from birth-age 5) through ChildCare Solutions in Syracuse. She has five years experience caring for and teaching young children, one of which was as head 3 year-old teacher in Cicero. This is her 3rd Year at Holy Trinity Preschool. She lives with her husband and twin sons in Skaneateles.
Teacher's Assistants
Lori Delasin (3's & 5's E Assistant)
Lori is an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She has taught Sunday School at Holy Trinity for the past 16 years. This is Lori's second year at Holy Trinity Preschool She resides in Skaneateles with her husband and 6 children.
Michele Olsen (4's AM and 5's E Assistant)
Michele has a B.A. in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and English Literature from Rider University. She taught at two different preschools and was a teacher for an after school program at a middle school. She is an active volunteer at her children's schools. She spend the last year substituting in Skaneateles Schools in special education. Michele resides in Skaneateles with her husband and two daughters.
Jan has a Masters Degree in teaching from Buffalo State. She taught Senior High and Junior High English for seven years, worked with disabled adults in Auburn, and most recently worked for three years with preschoolers at Merry Playcare in Skaneateles. This is Jan's second year at Holy Trinity Preschool. Jan lives with her husband in Skaneateles where her son, daugher-in-law and grandchildren also live.
