Music Class!The musical experience at Holy Trinity Preschool offers:
We open the class with a “Hello Song” where everyone is greeted with “Heeellloooo to (insert name here), let’s have fun!” Listening and focus activities includes movement/dance through musical cues. The children then learn how to sing songs and they are introduced though listening and rehearsing. A little jingle is played on the guitar before the next activity of creative movement and listening for musical cues. At the end of each class, the children are allowed to play a wide variety of small “child safe” percussion instruments. The highlight of this activity is every child is offered an opportunity to improvise on a hand drum from Africa known as a Djembe. |
